The Jordanian artist was found unconscious by the owner of the hotel unit where he is staying in the Egyptian city “Sixth of October”, police informed, and was taken to hospital last Saturday but was breathing his last today.
Egyptian police sources confirmed that the artist had not left his place of residence for a full week before the accident that led to his death.
Hamza Talfah, the late artist’s brother, said in press statements that his brother was attacked at his home last Thursday and was in a coma until Saturday night, and that he traveled to Cairo two weeks ago to complete his PhD , and last Thursday night he lost contact with him completely which resulted in his family calling his friends to check on him and after the friends were able to trace his home address in Cairo, one of them went there on Saturday night and then he was told by the Artist surprised who passed out after being hit on the head.” The artist’s brother did not provide any explanation as to the reasons for the attack or the assailant.

For their part, Egyptian newspapers, citing security sources, reported that the “1. October” police station received a report of a person suffering from severe exhaustion at property No. 219, the family home in Dreamland, and immediately moved and examined it. It was determined that Ashraf Suleiman Salem Tilfah (47 years old), a Jordanian actor and director residing at the point of communication.
The security sources added that the ambulance that came to the site of communication was called and tried to save him and the actor was taken to the hospital and in intensive care until his last breath, saying that the The Jordanian Artist has been in Cairo for 10 days.
The security services are intensifying their efforts to complete the investigation into the incident and to clarify whether there is any criminal suspicion in connection with the incident.
