Handing over western armored vehicles to Kyiv will prolong the suffering of Ukrainians

The town of Bakhmutsi is located in the northeast of Bakhmut, which was famous for its vineyards and salt mines and had a population of 70,000 before the start of the war. Today it is the hottest spot on the battlefield.
For months, Russian forces led by fighters from the “Wagner” group have tried to control Bakhmut, but they have met stiff resistance from Ukrainians amid an exchange of artillery shells that hit part of the city.
Bakhmutsi is near the town of Solidar, which has also witnessed fierce fighting.
In his Sunday speech, the Ukrainian President described the area between these two cities as “one of the bloodiest on the front lines”.
