Former American Idol contestant CJ Harris has died on the age of 31
“American Idol” alum CJ Harris, who competed in season 13 and completed sixth total, died Sunday on the age of 31 following a medical emergency, a Walker County coroner’s spokesman confirmed to USA TODAY.
TMZ first reported the news, with a member of the family telling the outlet that Harris had suffered a coronary heart assault. An official reason for dying was not launched.
In 2014, Harris carried out the Allman Brothers’ “Soul Shine” in his audition and was praised by then-Decide Keith City who said, “You sing as a result of it’s a must to sing, not since you need to sing.
