Chinese engineers were able to “fold” the iPhone, which Apple itself has not yet planned.Unlike many of its competitors, the famous company has not yet released a foldable phone.

But some YouTubers in China have created an impressive prototype that shows a collapsible iPhone with a central part in the screen.

The prototype, called the iPhone V, was designed by engineers using the iPhone X and a Motorola Razr folding mechanism.

The phone, which took more than 200 days and thousands of dollars to make, also features silver iPhone letters on the center piece and the famous Apple symbol on the back.
Among the seven largest smartphone manufacturers in the world, six have already adopted foldable screens, Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi and Vivo, but Apple has not yet.

China’s Technological Aesthetics channel posted a video on YouTube detailing the arduous, month-long task of building the device.

According to Sky News Arabia, the team took the already five-year-old iPhone X to transform it into a modern-looking phone running iOS 16.
